Smartphones are unhealthy for your children.

You may see individuals addicted to their cellphones scanning through social media, Whatsapp, Twitter, and other online digital platforms everywhere since technology has made life easier for us. However, children are particularly at risk from cell phones, and if we don't act quickly, these technological marvels will completely destroy their lives.

Children using mobile phones may pose the following health risks:

1) An international study has identified that children who use smart phones more frequently run the risk of developing non-malignant brain and ear tumours because these devices produce radio frequency radiation that links them to cell towers that offer coverage. This electromagnetic radiation includes other types of radiation that come from using mobile phones, such as heat and microwaves. The radio-waves from our mobile devices are transmitted directly to our brains when we hold them close to our ears. This significantly affects our general health. Children's learning abilities and other behavioural issues may be hampered by the disrupted brain activity. Even their disposition and capacity for learning in the classroom might be impacted.

2) Cell phone radiation is categorised by the World Health Organization (WHO) as "probably carcinogenic to humans."Children's brains are exposed to radiation at higher rates than adults' because Kids' skin, tissues, and bones are thinner than those of adults', making them more susceptible to radiation absorption. They are more susceptible to this "carcinogen" because of the development of their neurological systems.

3) Kids and teenagers alike are addicted to mobile devices. On their cell phone, they are constantly playing games, chatting, and speaking with their buddies. Students' anxiousness is exacerbated by the abundance of video games and other applications that not only disrupt them. Due to their excessive phone use, students get crippling headaches and migraines, which further contribute to their worry and sadness.

4) Constantly gazing at a phone can harm your vision and your eye health. Dry eyes and hazy vision are common side effects. Children have trouble reading since their eyesight is also impacted. Phone use all day and night is bad for your eyes and has long-term effects. One of the worst side effects of cell phones is this.

 5) They are greatly distracted by the virtual world they access on their mobile devices. Students find it interesting and often lose themselves in it for hours. In addition to being misleading; it is also unclear. Kids want to use their phones more than books, which cause them to be distracted from their schoolwork and athletics. They frequently lose focus, which negatively affects their academic achievement..

Don't give your kids a phone in the following circumstances:

i) It is our job to refrain from giving children and teenager’s smart phones so they can't make calls in elevators, buses, trains, and autos because doing so increases the power level and requires the phone to work harder to get the signal through the metal.

ii) It is also crucial to avoid giving children and teenagers smartphones when the signal is weak because doing so will cause the power to spike when the phone tries to connect to a new relay antenna.

Enroll your kids in additional outdoor activities like sports and music courses to keep them busy and keep them mentally and physically active.

We can benefit from mobile phones and other modern devices in many ways, and they also play a significant role in communication. However, due to the harm they pose to children's health and education, their usage must be restricted.
